We’ll be unveiling two new limited release seasonal beers starting Saturday February 15th. Both will be available while supplies last at the Storz Trophy Room. We’re pretty excited about them and would love to get your opinions as well.
North 40 WBA Amber Ale
The North 40: a legendary strip of land where anything can happen. Midnight bonfires punctuated by the tinny radio of an old pickup. Like Todd Storz, the father of Top 40 radio, changed the face of music, the flavors in our Amber Ale come alive when aged in oak wine barrels from James Arthur Vineyards in Raymond, Nebraska.
A full-bodied ale with caramel curves and sultry, sweet fruit flavor that shoots right up the charts.
Lumberjack 63 Lager
In 1863, the Storz brewing company was founded on their traditional lager. Today, we wanted to give it a little more heft, so we wrapped it in the warm, rustic flavor of bourbon barrel aging. Like a woolen flannel, the smooth flavor covers the palate with Pilsner and Munich malts that chop down any overpowering aftertaste.
If you’re in the mood for a smoky campfire lager, this small batch masterpiece is just what the lumberjack ordered.
